Lo and behold, none of this chatter has anything to do with my lovely hometown of Rockford, the focus of this here blog. So... the question of the week bring's my focus back down from the Northwoods to good ol' Illinois:
What is the best concert/show you have ever seen in the Rockford area?

I am super excited for the summer season and am hoping to hear as much live music as possible this summer... so if you know about any upcoming shows, please do share.
Hope your Memorial Weekend was peaceful, meaningful and that you were able to spend time with those you love and remember those who have served us and those whom we have lost.

My favorite concert in the Rockford area is when I saw Lucky Boys Confusion at the Water Front in like 2001 or something. It was the first real concert I ever went to, and it opened up a world of fun. LBC concerts will always be high on my favorite memories list. Not because they were that great of a band, but just because of the times I had at them. Heck, I even remember being at one with you, Do you remember? Probably not, HAHA.
The funnest show I've been to was when I (of course) sold merch for Starlite Radio's CD release show two (or 3?) years ago at Memorial Hall. hehe
The best show (that wasn't Starlite Radio) was when I saw Coldplay live at Alpine Valley at the outdoor amphitheater. I was completely dumbfounded at how many people could be at one concert - we happened to get 2nd to last row seats but there were still thousands of people behind us sitting on the grassy hill. It was overwhelming to say the least.
